KDSSC Korean Dance Studies Society of Canada (Artistic Director, Mi Young KIM) will present the 8th Soo Ryu Dance Festival featuring the new work “Canada Arirang” from December 15-18, 2014. The artists from Korea, USA and Canada including BC and QC will preform in the Festival. Featured Artists: Zab Maboungou (Artistic Director, AD) with drummers of Compagnie Danse Nyata-Nyata (Montreal, QC), Santee Smith (AD of Kaha:wi Dance Theatre; ON), traditional Korean dance masters of Important Korean Intangible Property from Korea: Mi Sook Song (Artistic Director) & Yepuri Dance Co, Jinsu Mun, KyungLim Lee, SoonHee Choi, Hyun Ju Youm, Jinmin Park, Kuk Hyang Keum as well as Constance Chang (USA), locally Samulnori Canada, Jeffrey Chan, Mi Young Kim Dance Company and more local Call-to-Artists. A few performances may be added and the current programme may be subject to change.
